Project Description
For the past decade, I have designed over a dozen courses and learning experiences for a variety of audiences at the undergraduate, post graduate, and executive levels (sample below).
Building on my teaching philosophy, my course design approach is about providing students with a relevant, engaging, and experiential learning experience which will further their career goals. My courses have also been taught by other instructors in face to face, hybrid and online environments.
Sample Course Outlines
- User Acquisition & Engagement (UAE, UBC Sauder)
- Communication Project Capstone (WORK 490, UCW)
- Public Relations in Practice and Theory (PUBR 300, UCW)—major course revamp
I follow the ADDIE course development process including analysis/research, design, development, implementation and evaluation to source and deliver all course assets ranging from the course outline and material to the assessments and activities. This culminates in a course shell which is implemented in the LMS (experience with Moodle and BrightSpace).
